audi s3 stalls in traffic

Hi i have a audi s3 8l i was driving today and everything was fine untill i was sat in traffic? My car just switch off and then took about 5 mins before it would start again. It has happern few times now but getting worse.plz can anyone help thanks

Need to scan for fault codes but it could be the crank position sensor...
