Audi S3 Problem - Urgent

Hi All,

I was driving on the dual carriageway at 40mph (after 10mins of driving), all of a sudden there is a huge power loss, CEL comes on and the car stalled when coming to a halt. There is no a tapping sound coming from the engine when starting up, i have left it off and waiting for the rac.

Can anyone advise?

Sounds like a boost pipe has come off/split.

thanks for the quick reply. Where are the boost pipes located?

I can start the car and it idles fine but it sounds tappy.

Any pipe that connects to the big silver pipe next to the top engine cover. if it sounds bad i would wait for assistance.

Does t sound rough? If so could be coilpack?

could be a coilpack, the first time one of mine went I crapped my pants!

If its a coil pack the rattle with be the gearbox.
I would wait for assistance ,
If its a boost pipe thats come off, un plug the MAF and see if any better
