I will be changing my intercooler setup soon and plan on changing the restrictive MAP sensor tube also.
I was thinking about welding a flange onto my inlet manifold just behind the throttle body and extending the wiring loom if too short. Then it would just be a case of a straight joiner in place of the plastic MAP tube.
Would mounting the MAP sensor directly to the manifold have any diverse affects? (Surely it would be the best place to have it anyway?)

Thanks in advance

I just thought it might be easier to get a 2.5" tube through the gap without a map sensor in it, move it a little bit further up the line kinda thing. Not much space on the S3
