Audi S3 8Y De chrome front grill

Hi everyone

finally i found some power and time to dechrome front grill on s3 , if anyone need any tips let me know as only looks easy took almost half day
but overall i think its better then swap grill for black

I've just gotten everything but my grill dechromed, I don't know whether to wait for an aftermarket grill to come out as it seems so tedious

Its better dechrome i just istall black.rings today
Windows chrome.left..

How did you remove the chrome rings. I tried and failed. I hope you do not need to remove the whole front bumper to do it. Gulp!

you need to damage them to remove them without damage grill

Ahhh maaaaan, I was hoping not to damage it. Oh well. Was wrapping the chrome inserts easy to do, still need to do that…..
