audi s3 8v induction HELP/ADVICE

hello i have an audi s3 8v 2019 plate and im looking to get an induction kit ,
if i get an induction kit will i have to get my car remapped straight away or can i run it until i decide to get one

No need to re map if fitting, but you could try the air box mod....

Cutting away so more air can flow into air box.

I put a RamAir on my 69 plate after a few thousand miles and it's ran fine since.

Thanks for replies how long have you now had the induction kit on for ?
It’s coz I got told that the car could run rich and just didn’t want to put a kit on and it cause problems with the car later on down the line ?

Was going to get the revo kit and then maybe map it at a later date

Ive had mine on a month or so. Its due to get mapped but given the current state of lockdown that hasn't happened yet.

I havent felt it runs rich but the throttle response has improved and the MPG has actually significantly improved also.

ah thats good to hear yeah this lockdown malarkey is abit annoying , if i was to get the induction but not get it mapped for say a year would that be a problem ?

Nah I cant see that being a problem. I ran an induction kit on my VXR for 3 years without a map and that thing was made of chocolate so im sure the S3 will be fine!
