Audi S3 8L owners living in MK?? - n249 bypass..

Hi guys,
Ive been thinking about doing the N249 bypass as there doesnt seem to be any bad reports with the mod.
Ive got a 2001 facelift model s3. not sure which engine code off the top off my head. possibly a BAM.?

I just wondered if there was anyone living near MK with an S3 for banters sake and if they have done the mod on their car and could run through it with me.?

Yours will be an AMK you should give it a go yourself, there are plenty of guides around, and on an AMK, it is a 5 minute job. If you can remember to breathe, you're over qualified to do this mod, there's nothing to it!

I'd backup the above. This is really a simple job to do and the how-to help's quite a bit. You're basically eliminating all the extra pipework between the inlet and the recirc valve.

i've done mine on my amk s3 live in mk too

Yep, BAM is fine too. I've done it on mine (also BAM).
