I think I will not go to stage 2. APR is already released Stage 2 and the difference using petrol at 98 octane is 10 CV compared to Stage 1. I hypothesize that Revo also obtains the same maximum power values. It is likely that they will be able to get more torque at intermediate regimes. But this requires remaping DSG exceeding its 65 kgm limit. If REVO will come out with a very pushed map on the advance as for Stage 2 of the PFL the octane 98 petrol will not be sufficient. I think at this point the stage 1 +, with intercooler, cat 200 cells and a panel filter K & N is the right compromise.
Stg2 will be also available with 95,97,98,100,102. Toque is difference and like APR 10-20hp but more power at midrange. DSG map is + even with stg1
The biggest punch you get with software. DP, IC etc. provide a little more hp, but the most important thing for me is the thermal relief. Anyway, the torque is quite impressive with Revo.
What performance mode / map are you running in? I see revo have low and high boost both for 98 and 95 Ron when using the sps box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did you have to ask Revo for this map or do you run some beta tune? On the Revo home page that say that you can get 95 and 98 Ron maps with high and low boost for the rs3 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
