Audi rs3 8va oil catch can

@Arcam the 2.0 TFSI engine (EU engines only) as used in the S3 has an extra injector upstream of the inlet valves (4 extra in total) precisely to try and cure this issue, it's a very well known issue on FSI engines, esp on the V8's. They did look briefly at introducing this for the 2.5 5-cyl but there were too many packaging issues.
Interesting I haven't seen this is it 8 injectors total then?

Could you boil up what you got and see how much water goes and how much oil it leaves?

Yes, 4 FSI Injectors, plus 4 Indirect injectors mounted in the inlet manifold.

Only EU EA888 engines though, the EA888 sold in US and Canada do not have the indirect injectors.

I can't boil it up because I tipped it away but I have fitted a VTA over last weekend which I will post soon and now I have both front and rear pcv plumbed in so when I get to 400 mile I will post and boil up

Finally I have attach the pics of my VTA catch can it is the same set up as my first but I have removed the filter from the front cam cover breather and plumbed it in to the catch can I will also be sorting out the mass of jubilee clamps on the front breather by fitting a longer 13mm hose.
