Hi guys.
As title say.
Whats needed for the R8 rear brake system upgrade on the RS3 8v?
I understand 2x 4pot caliper, 2x electric hand brake caliper and 2x disc's.
What about caliper adapters and other?
Anyone done this here?
Any pics out there.

Thanks for any help with this...
Really need inputs to this.
Thanks

Thanks.
Yes I do know about the TomW kit.
But then I need to upgrade the fronts for a OEM look.
They look great though.

Not sure why you are asking the question if you know about Tom Wrigley’s kit as he has matched the front and rears together with the necessary adapters...

Read post above.
This thread is about R8 OEM parts upgrade...

Ah, ok, you wish to change Rs3 with R8 front brakes. Why? It is not really an upgrade in the true sense as the brake durface areas are similar with the RS3 370mm disc and the R8 mk1 at 365 and the mk2 at 380mm. Ceratinly the mk1 R8 had the same disc cooling issues as the RS3. Not sure if they rectified the vane direction on the mk2 - at the price, I’d hope so.
The hub on the R8 is totally different that would call for spacers which I have never seen.
Personally, I would not see your idea as an upgrade. And for the cost, I’d say the AP offering is not only an upgrade, but better value for money
