Audi Music Interface

Does anyone know if the USB cable for Audi's Music Interface is proprietry? I have been quoted £30 for a USB cable from Audi parts deparment which seems a tad steep!

It is an Audi only cable with a multi pin connector at the AMI end.

IIRC only the iPod leads are £30.00 the rest are £25.00
