Hi folks

Just recently bought my 2009 V6 Tdi A4 which comes with an Audi MMI system. I have managed to pair my Samsung Note9 to it and I can make / receive calls ok. However, I cannot seem to play my Amazon music library through it, just wondered if any of you might know how to resolve this / what I might be doing wrong ? Many thanks in advance guys, Gary.

You need your phone connected to the MMi via a cable to do music.

Bluetooth for this era only supports calls.
So many cables out there as it is and you'd be lucky to find one that actually works for you.

I had this same problem in my 2011 A4 and gave up trying and instead got a bluetooth reciever. This is my post from another thread

AMI Aux cable £10.23

Bluetooth Reciever £14.99

Female to female aux adapters £5.99 - OPTIONAL

I ran the AMI cable into my centre console with the Bluetooth adaptor, plugged it into the 12v to keep it charged and just leave it on all the time.
My phone connects as soon as I get to my car and auto plays.

URL's above are for Amazon UK - For some reason it failed to put my links in correctly so I Tiny URL'd them.

Yes Audi were a bit behind the times with Bluetooth audio streaming unfortunately so it’s a case of the options above.

The best all rounder (but probably most expensive) Bluetooth streaming option is the tune2air Bluetooth AMI adapter as this allows control (play, pause, skip track, track listings etc) from the MMI system, most of the cheaper options just stream audio with no control.
