Audi iPod connection

How easy is it to fit the Audi iPod connection?

Is it a case of taking the stereo out (single din without 6cd changer) and plugging in the cable?

Also how easy is it to route the cable to the glove box? Does the glove box have to come out?

Also is there an option for the glove box dock if I don't want the loose cable or is that just a factory fit item?

Hi Dan, I had the Ipod link fitted by my dealer, it was a lot less hassle!!!

Just did this myself at the weekend, very easy job indeed.

Pop the stereo out, no need to unclip the power so no worries about coding it back up.

Undo 5 bolts to drop the glove box out. Route the cable, plug it in and fit it all back together.

Job done.
