Audi Driver International AS.NET Club Stand!

love to go but the wifey puts the dampers on it says it costs to much with me driving like a man possessed,price of fuel and tyres,maybe next year!!!!!!
 
Sorry guys not going to be able to make the club stand, but will still be at the show so will come and say hello.
 
I will be there, and not because I only live a few miles away - I've been to the last two and I wouldn't miss it for the world!

I'll arrange a place for us all to meet before we enter castle coombe (Same place as last year in a pub around the corner) and then we can all follow in a convoy to the event.

More details will be posted next week.

Anyone remember the name of the pub? Was it the Cross Hands?

Yeah the pub is just around the corner. We met there last year where I handed out the passes. Good opertunity for photos too!

I think we should meet at 8AM as entry into castle combe is at 8:30.

More details will be posted it bit closer to the date.

Just got the letter in front of me. It says:

8:30 Gate opens
Cars need passes displayed on entry ( These will be handed out at the pub)
Payment of £5 (per person) needs to be paid for at the gate.

The audi driver website say that the track opens at 8am for those who are going to be on-track to sign in, as I'm going to be "having a play" on-track and also would like to have my car on the stand too, could we meet up a little earlier so I can get the stuff off you and then I can go on to the track and sign-in?

We are all going to meet at 8AM at this pub, so I will probably be there at 7:45 ish. As its 2 mins from castle combe, will this be ok?

Riiiiiight. Does anyone know of an OK hotel nearby? (Preferably one with an outside tap near the car park!) - I'm coming down from Preston so it probably makes more sense for me to stay over than set off at 03:30 / 04:00!

Also, I've just had the chap round who did the spraying on my front end (which now looks like an orange disguised as a dalmation); guess what... he wants to sort it out on the weekend of 14th / 15th :applaus:... Guess what... that's not happening. Arrangements are being made to get it sorted out this week/first part of next now.
 
Actually just remembered... I might be able to get someone from Intel to book me into the Marriot next door to their office :)

Though if anyone knows of somewhere else to stay nearby I'd be grateful of tips!

That will be fine. I'm staying overnight at a hotel in chippenham so won't be far from the pub or track in the morning.

Check through the posts mate , we are meeting here , for passes and photos etc , then driving in , its just round the corner from Combe 8am meet up i think
 
Does anyone know if you can buy track session tickets on the day??

Looks like I'm almost 100% coming, (don't all groan at once.......) as AMD are sorting out my front wheel bearing and CV joint this week!:sm4:

Right, my beast is back, just need to fit the speed sensor now, as it drives :racer: , but no readings on the speedo lol, so put me back on the list King Dicky! :yes:
