It used to appear when you first opened the link, when I paid yesterday I couldn't find any way of selecting the club so I just paid anyway.

Ah I see I guess I'll just go ahead and pay as it is then. Hopefully the weather holds out :blacksunrays:

Fingers crossed but I hold little hope with how it's been here the last few days (South Wales).

@Mark_86 You thinking of heading to this one?

Tempted... not sure if I can justify it without s go on the track tbh, but also saving for Vegas in November... I'll run some man maths and let you know mate.

@Sandra My tickets arrived today in the post, but I didn't receive a "Club Stand" sign to go on the mirror, will this be an issue or can I use the two General Admission tickets to get to the stand do you think?

I will phone see if I can get hold of James at autometrix to confirm Matt. :) x

Matt, I have spoken to James, he will send me a PDF doc later and you can download a mirror document. :) x

Really enjoyed last years event both the trackday/show and the awards event later that night however this year i wont be there :disappointed:

That's great, thanks very much  x
Matt, I have sent the form to autometrix applying for the club passes. if you used the drop down menu when you applied for your tickets you will get an email in next few days from adi to print a mirror pass with audi-sport.net on it. If you don't, just show your tickets and they will direct you to our stand no problem. There will be club passes for you to collect and keep from either @MikeSel^ or @AudiSpy

Hi Chris

Your friend is welcome to come and park in the public car park. But unfortunately he won't be able to go on track. He could go in your Audi as an extra driver or passenger if he just wanted to experience the track. It is open to other V-A-G cars but not beyond that.

Thanks Sandra that is a great help.

I didn't select the club because it didn't show anywhere on the page, I went through 3 times and couldn't see anything so just went ahead with normal tickets.

Some extra info if any of you are interested in the after show events.

The evening begins with a drinks reception at Swindon Audi, guests are then whisked back to the Doubletree by Hilton, Swindon for a three-course dinner, followed by the presentation of the Audi Driver magazine awards. The guests are from a number of Audi Centres, the specialist Audi trade as well as club members and other Audi enthusiasts. It’s a fun evening which had Elaine Catton as compère last year and who has volunteered to hold the mic again. After the awards are given and photographs taken, a DJ keeps people dancing until the small hours.

The awards are voted for by readers and followers of our magazines and events, and are given to those individuals who have excelled in the world of Audi, as well as representatives of the trade and clubs who readers of Audi Driver magazine consider to have provided exceptional service throughout the year. The winners and runners up are all awarded coveted Audi Driver Awards crystal trophies with the Audi Centre awards presented by Jon Zammett, Head of PR for Audi UK.

The awards dinner follows the Audi Driver International event during the day at nearby Castle Combe. Designed to be the UK event to celebrate all things Audi, with a blend of the static and the dynamic that’s hard to beat, 2016 was by all accounts the best year to date with several thousand people attending on the day, whether as a spectator or driver/passenger and nearly all of the Audi owner and enthusiast clubs in attendance too. It enjoys great support from Audi UK with its static display and an Audi Driving Experience R8 running passenger laps.

If you are interested in joining us at Audi Driver International and at the gala dinner afterwards, please feel free to get in touch. My email address is james.tipping@autometrix.co.uk and my direct line is 01733 363483.

Does anyone know if I could take a passenger in my car on track with a helmet? Or would it be driver only?

One of my friends has a mental hillclimb car he is thinking of bringing, it is audi powered & audi drive train but mini badged (space frame with a fibreglass shell). Do you think he'd be able to take it on the track?

This is the car in question

Carl, I'm sorry but no to your friends car on the track. I have just spoken with autometrix and it's for Audi cars only. :)

THAT AUDI POWERED MINI IS AMAZING!!!!

Can we have it on the stand @Sandra ? There was a VW Transporter last year with an Audi Diesel in it so surely this is allowed. And because its amazing.

I don't think he'll make the drive up if he can't get behind the wheel unfortunately, he definitely prefers driving it rather than showing it off. Pretty sure there's some footage of him doing various track days & hill climbs on youtube if you want to see it in action.

Hey guys , any space still available on the stands ?

Other VAG cars are invite only really - and that is a spectacular car, but it would be better to not have it in the track sessions - on the other hand I'm sure that Keith Murray at Dialynx would love to see it in action - right up his Strasse.

I'm going out on track in a Seat!

Last year there was all sorts out on track with nothing whatsoever to do with the wider VW group e.g. MX5's.

Autometrix will try to pre-sell but if they don't and folk turn up with cash to go on track in an xxx they aren't going to say no, are they!

ps. I wasn't invited - I invited myself. Then again I have been on at least one Autometrix track day for the past 10 years so I guess they might call me a regular customer ;-)

Jason, there will be no other make or model of car apart from Audi on this years track sessions. That decision has been made and that comes direct from autometrix. If you have booked your track ticket Jason you should get in touch with autometrix directly to ask them personally rather than risk turning up on the day and not being allowed on track. The aim this year and for each forthcoming year is to generate a lot of specific Audi noise around ADI to make it more exclusive.
