Audi b7 roof rails

Iv just done a de chrome on the window trims to gloss black ideally looking at getting the roof rails done too ...

Is there any advise on how to go about getting these done is it going to be a case of shot blasting and powder coating?

I had mine powered coated the other day, really happy with the finish and colour (gloss black). Don't let the powered coaters convince you there chrome finish, as chrome needs stripping first before blasting. They are infact aliminium so 100% powered coatible.

 

I got rid of mine, gives the car a much nice side profile with the bars gone

 

So in theory they just need to be blasted and coated ?

 

How did you dechrome the window trims?

Yep, i didn't realise that blasting was how they prep the parts for coating but apparently it is.
