I have some questions regarding aftermarket subwoofer install in my A6 2009 MMI 3G.

The active sub is a Alpine SWE-815 with RCA and Highpass/speaker input.

Now I've understood that I have two options.

1: Connect the Left/Right speakers and hijcack the highpass signal.

2: I'm somewhat unsure about this solution, but it would be the best solution and cleanest.
I have MMI 3G with DSP sound system. 10 speakers total. 3 in front doors 2 in back foors.
The difference between the non-facelift A6 and my FL A6 is that I have no stereoequipment in the trunk, everything goes to the main unit in the glove compartment. I also have no dedicated Subwoofer as in the BOSE package.

The similarities I find with the BOSE system is that my Main Unit is the same as the one with the BOSE, and there is a SUB connector there.

Would it be possible to hijack SUB signal from the Main Unit?
