Hi,

Can someone tell me the location of the parking sensor module for my Audi A5 sport back please?
Parking sensors have stopped working, I had been advised by an Audi specialist that the front middle left sensor isn't working, which I have now had them change, but sensors still not working, yellow light flashes and long beep tone can be heard in the car.

Garage want the car for 2 days to try and resolve but I would have to pay for the time spent looking.

So........ I have been on internet and seen could now be the parking sensor module, I have then swapped the new sensor with the right front midle right sensor and checked the code error and still saying front middle left sensor error, so that's telling me underlying issue probably wasn't the sensor that had gone!!

The car is nearly 7yrs old so trying to track the parking sensor module but can only find A4 or A6 locations on internet as I've seen due to moisture this could now need changing?

Any help would be appreciated

Check the sensor wiring as I've repaired these on the front due to crushed loom against the crash bar, also on an A5.

after 2012 face lift on A5 Audi removed the module and put them in the bcm or comfort module i after spent along time asking and trying to find it.

they seem to be in module 10 pre 2011 the in either module 76 or 5F depends on the model i think

Thanks for the tips guys checked the wiring behind the crash bar and found a break, replaced with a new live wire and all working fine

I had the cambelt changed about 3 months ago at the same garage that changed the sensor who rang me and told me the car had been in a minor bump at the front as the crash bar was slightly bent and the wiring was in front of the crash bar so checked with a multimeter and found reading was different to the other side so by passed as a test with another live wire and all worked so changed the live going to that sensor put back together and all working fine now
