Hello,
Add some upgrades to the car. Audi A5 1.8tfsi cjee.

Ran into some small problems.

The k+n air filter is too big for the stock adapter that connects the flex pipe to the engine. When I ordered it the seller claimed it would fit.

K+n e-1987 air filter.

audi 06h 129 638 b -adapter part ref (#4 in photo). inside 80 mm wide. Ideally I need this replaced with a wider outer rim.
Needs to be about 7.5mm wider on each side to align the bolts on the air filter.

Where can I get a wider adapter to accommodate the new air filter?

Or should I get a new pipe? (#8 in photo).
If so, which one is the best for the k+n air filter I have?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

Interesting- with 3.0tdi Mann gives a O ring which is a nice touch. I do so many 3.0tdi and keep at least 10 filters in stock. This O ring is very important I’ve seen damaged compressor wheels if its missing.
