Audi A4, quiet rear speakers after HU install.

Evening all.

Fitted a xtrons HU a few month back and had a few issues that's I've managed sort apart from one.

My cars a Audi A4 b7 and I know it doesn't have full Bose but I'm unsure if it has half Bose. After fitting the new HU the front speakers work perfectly, possibly louder than when I had the oem HU in but the rear speakers are really quiet, they work so I know they are receiving power/signal but in comparison to the fronts they may as well not be in use.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried a Hilo converter?worked for me
Took me ages to find out what I needed but had a bit of help from another member off here
Tried the adapter off the xtrons forum but they were useless pc401 or something,waste of money
Mine is half amped non Bose

No I haven't, never heard of one, I'm pretty new to ice if I'm honest so learning as I go along.
So do you have a double din xtrons unit? What's the adaptor you used?

When I had the xtrons unit I fitted this;
Connects2 CT51-AU02
leveled up the output.

Yes your right but you can lose it all behind the heater controls.

Will all the connectors be used or will they be redundant ones?

So what does it do John, bypass the rear amp and powers the rear speakers directly?

No I think it boosts the level to the rear speakers
