Audi A4 b8 2011 air filter box

Hi newbie here, I have an Audi A4 b8 2011 2.0 tdi, I was looking at putting an induction kit in but wen I removed the air filter there seems to be a sensor in the bottom of the filter house underneath where the filter is, it has a 2 pin plug going into the bottom of it also has a vacuum pipe coming out the top of it as well, does anyway know wot this is and wot is does? And also how to remove it to fit an air induction kit?
