after lots of research, that has not fixed my issue, I thought I'd post, as I have not yet found a resolution to my issue.
The fan heater stopped working in the car. It can be ran if you send power direct to it, but not via the normal electrical connections.
So far I have changed the fan, and know it works, the ac pressures switch, the heater resistor, and the control unit. This has made no difference.
The symptoms are the fan speed display goes to the set speed on turn on then after 6 or so seconds drops to the off fan speed, then 6 or so seconds later it comes back on up to the mark it was set to before, but all the time the fan does not spin.
I have been able to operate all the fan motors via vcds, and the heater temp works, the direction works, just the fan speed thing goes up and off, and there is no fan operation.
Any advice or knowledge of this happening to someone else would be welcomed.
