Hello Guys,

My mates Audi developed a misfire under full load around 2500-2700rpm only that rpm range.

I did a full acceleration from 1k rpm with no issues till 2500-700rpm and after that is accelerates perfect.

Idles fine and light load is fine. I haven't connected log the VCDS.

Any ideas are highly appreciated. I think it might be the N75

I was thinking about them and the coils as well, but it's quite aggressive the way it cuts out I thought it's more like something air/fuel delivery related..

@pyle check the plugs, sounds like the plugs are breaking down on full load, they're cheap enough, change them and see how you get on.

The early coils are quite reliable, it's normally the ICM that fails but that usually causes 1 coil to go down totally.

I did the gapping, it only has a remap and all is well, such a simple fix!

ICM normal knocks cylinder 2 out

Delete the ICM and upgrade the coil packs and plugs to BKRE6E’s (change every 10k) or PFRQ6’s (for longlife 40k servicing) and change the MAF sensor.

If mapped the ignition systems probably on its last legs tbh
