Just had mine done at Bristol Audi for £438. From what I can tell from the paperwork it was basically an oil change and pollen filter. It’s on the longlife/variable service schedule and the car has done 11k miles after 24 months.

When I booked I was under the impression that this was a ‘major’ service and therefore included change of spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc and I didn't question the price on that basis. So the £438 seems toppy for just an oil change and pollen filter.

Out of interest what have others paid for an equivalent service?

The car is leased so had to use a main dealer.

Cheers

My understanding is they only change the parts as necessary. Which angers me. But I’ve still bought the next 2 services on a 18 month Direct debit just to continue my FASH.

Used an Audi specialist 4rings they update the Audi network and use Audi parts 1st service was £75 oil change 2nd device £175

The price we pay for FASH :)

Please help me understand. Good, or even average, Audi franchises are as rare chickens' teeth while we wax lyrical on here about the merits of specialists. But we then all insist on FASH when we buy used. Nowt as queer as folk!!

As for cost - I have to use a franchise as it's on a lease, I haggled my oil change down to £363. And they broke it!

I know and agree fully. Can't tell you why, but I don't plan on upsetting the status quo.

I paid £200 back in Feb 2019 for the first service after approx 17k miles
