Audi A4 2010 connect Phone?

Hi.
I have a Audi a4 b8 2010 and i have always wondered what the telephone menu is supposed to do. I don’t think mine has Bluetooth nor USB so how would I connect my phone? I don’t have the fitting for a Bluetooth adapter either.
