Audi a3 tdi power loss

I have just bought an Audi a3 tdi on a 04 plate and just noticed that as soon as you hit 80 mph the car just seems to loose all power no lights come on the dash and when you turn the ignition off an back on goes normal again don't have a clue what it is any help would be great


Also when u change gear and let the clutch up you some times get a whhhuss noise like a dump valve don't no if it's anything to do with it​

Well thanks for all the help (not) but got the problem sorted just needed a good thrashing as its been stud in a body shop for two months an has been fine now so thanks for not a lot of help
