Audi a3 tdi 170 56 plate. Injector recall help pls

Hi guys any help would be greatly appreciated. So I have a injector problem with my a3 (found through cheap scanning tool) I've been reading online that back in 2011/12 there seemed to be a recall on the injectors? Is it too late for me to contact Audi about this now? Any help is hugely welcomed!

Would they still honor the recall all these years later do you think? Just booked in to a vag specialist this morning for Thursday but this might be a lot cheaper than I thought. Worried they might try to fight it though, heard so many horror stories with main dealers being cheapo

Recalls by motor manufacturers don't time out. Some recalls are safety related so its in their interest to update faulty parts. Usually you just phone the main dealer with your Vin number and they check whether your car has been recalled in the past.
