Audi A3 dsg possible air leak

A few days ago a pipe that goes into the intercooler came off. However, having reconnected the pipe, the Emissions light came up on the dash and when accelerating theres a loud air noise and gush of black smoke.

I was told that the egr valve needed to be replaced in which i've done and had the system reset which has now removed the emissions light.

However, the air noise is still there as is the black smoke from the exhaust. This only happens when driving.

Can anyone assist?

Have you checked the whole intake system as of course there's a few pipe connections & I suspect black smoke is due to the mixture being of as its lacking in air, due to pipe loose, speculative but sounds like.

You sure the pipe is back securely?

I havent checked the whole intake system but will do that and double check the pipe is back on securely.
