Hi everyone,

I've just bought an audi a3 1.8 tfsi sportback 2013 with MMI navi high P europe 2016 maps and
MMI firmware version MHIG_EU_AU_K0337_1

i found on another forum the newest firmware but i'm afraid to load it into the unit without any feedback on it.
see attachement for the link. https://turbo-quattro.com/archive/index....24379.html

Can aynone help me with the firmware and newest 2019 maps?

Maps will be a dealer only option. Firmware im not sure. Search this forum for more answers. This question comes up every week with people thinking they can simply download a file and hey presto!

If you manage to install that firmware without "bricking" your unit you will still have errors which cannot be removed. Firmware updates require a special procedure via the official VW Group diagnostic tool.

Navigation updates = dealership or authorised 3rd parties.

Thanks for your reply, well i also work in the car branche, but i found a site: https://upgrademyaudi.net/check-upgrade/

If you work in a car branch then you probably should know that this is standard for all manufacturers nowadays. No website will help you apart from guide you, but nothing can be done. Dealer or contact djalix or others that offer services like him who can sort map updates.

Well indeed 3rd party/others, a site like navigation.com which provides updates for multiple navi units from all kinds, not for audi.

That is a link to "here" which is a system like googlemaps. You are not getting around it mate! the maps have to be linked and activated by Audi to your car!

I know, but they offer legit navi updates which you can register yourself by creating an account.
Thanks anyway :)

Good luck with that. Obviously, they are offering updates for their own service which is free anyway.
