Audi A3 8v - how to remove front fog cover ?

Hi guys

Have a a3 sport trim and need to change the fog light bulbs. Read elsawin which shows popping the cover off by inserting a tool into the front hole and pulling.

Having tried that I couldn't get it off. Maybe I was scared to break something but just wanted to check if I am doing it right?

Easy to do .I used an allen key and a pair of pliers . Insert the L shaped end of the allen key into the hole in the trim which is located on the left hand side of the trim. Use the pliers to grip the allen key and give it a sharp firm pull. It will come away no problem.

Cracking advice thanks! I was using a plastic bit which seemed to want to break quicker than the surround, i'll give it a go.
