Audi A3 8L Preface lift light swap help

Hi Lads,

I won these on ebay.

Will they be a straight swap or will there be much modding needed?

I am pretty sure they are a direct replacement on a prefacelift car. You will just need to mount the ballasts somewhere tidy. On the S3 they are mounted to the rad support under the headlight units iirc

i almost 100% the connections are all different on these compared to the ordinary ones,theres a guy on here breaking an s3 if you take a look ,hed probly have the loom still so you could get the plugs,he was bang on to get stuff off .

if you decide not to go ahead with the swap any chance of dibs/ sale for a fellow a-s.n member???

The connections are diff if going facelift from prefacelift for 100%.

also going from a3 to s3 ,if you have a look they are completly different,you will need those looms.i think its a guy ramon in the classifieds

checked connections and they are different will look for ramon for the loom.
