Good morning, group!

I drive audi a3 8l 1.8t agu and I will put a k04 turbo. My question is, do you have pictures when installing the front intercooler with a maximum size of 550x180 (140) mm, which is hidden behind the bumper. If you can tell how it is captured and what elbows did you use to get the effect?

Sorry for my bad English... :blackrs4:

when I was buying my S3 intercooler that was the dimensions for the A3 - as the K04 usually has 2 side mounted ICs the 140mm is smaller than the combined existing ICs.

I was looking at black ones of these

but if you look at the adverts on ebay, they do not recommend these for S3's which is what you are essentially replacing your turbo for?

I think what people do on A3's for an intercooler is put the charge pipe across the engine as the A3 throttle body and charge pipe are both on the same side or you can get some intercoolers with connectors on both sides but the reported difficulty is fitment.

know her topic, but there are only pictures of s3 8l

Granted its an S3 heavy thread but there are pics of A3's too... you just need to look...

Because experience says it is not big enough... you want something that around 300mm tall

Thank you

Just remember that while your car maybe an A3 you are fitting the turbo from an S3 to get S3 power so you will need suitable mods to support that goal..

You need to fit supporting mods for the power not the type of car you have

I made up my own route of pipe work with my FMIC with a universal kit for a Subaru
=[] as it was free. Had to fiddle around but it weaves through the space at the front of the bay and turns up to the intake. Ideally you want the shortest distance from the intercooler to the intake thus getting the best output. =]

Good luck =]
