My audi keep going into limp mode at high speed had it looked at and it coming up as overboost turbo anyone tell me the best way to sort it our will it need a new turbo?

Try getting the turbo cleaned out as it could just be sticky veins. Worked on my A3 a couple of weeks ago, doesn't go into limp mode anymore and now pulls like a train. Only cost me £110 so it's worth a try.

Thanks mike boy but only does it over 3000 rpm and the turbo whistling longer then normal.

Mine was doing it a 4000 rpm when accelarating hard. Turbo whistle is pretty standard with these engines. Could possibly be a boost leak if you think the whistle is more noticeable?

Replacing the turbo is your best bet. You don't have to buy brand new one - there are a lot of reputable companies who refurbish turbos.
