audi a3 140 diesel quattro

hi my names rich an i have just baught an audi a3 2.0tdi quattro s line 140 with 55000 on the clock.
i am very interested in gettin the stage 1 remap an have enquired to amd.
some people say the clutch will not take the power an slip an others say it will be fine i dont know what to believe! lol As you can believe i dont really want to fork out for a new clutch.
any advice? Thank you

My 170 quattro is remapped and its been fine for the last 10k.

thanks 4 the reply so you dont think there is any issue with the clutch? as i really want it done. what is yours pushing out now 170?

Its running 205bhp 315 lb/ft. Great fun.

You will not have a problem with the clutch. Just a faster car

If i were you i wouldnt get it mapped straight away as i did and regretted it haha I wish i waited a few month

fair play its a nice car! bet its fun at 205bhp! iv had the car bout 4 months thought id do it in the spring . cheers 4 the advice
