Hi guys. Been dormant on audi sport for a while but could really use someone's help. I'm currently trying to make progress fitting an s3 8v flat bottom mfsw from a 17 plate to my 2012 8p which had round bottom mfsw. I've unpinned the new airbag and I'm trying to pin it according to the order of the old airbag but I have no idea which wires do what as there are a different number of wires and I assume the colours don't always have the same function. Here's the order of old airbag and new airbag.
Old bag
Pin 3 green
Pin 4 white
Pin 5 blue
Pin 6 orange
Pin 7 black
Pin 8 brown
Pin 9 dark blue
Pin 10 red
New bag
Pin 3 black
Pin 4 green
Pin 5 yellow
Pin 6 white
Pin 7 empty
Pin 8 red
Pin 9 purple
Pin 10 brown
