Armrest clip knackered..

The clip has broke, one of the lugs on the left side has snapped, i had this happen on a MK4 Golf and i could just by a new clip.. This doesn't look as simple on the A3 though, can someone shed some light, I'll by the new clip but I'm not sure how it goes back together etc.

Is it still in warranty?

I had two arm rests replaced on my old A3 under warranty

It's an 05 and unlucky for me no it's not under manufacturers warranty..

Yeah,mine is a bit dodgy also,as you say it was a piece of cake to replace on the mk 4 golf
