Hello everyone.
Looking to fix the little catch that holds the arm rest down. Apparently a common problem but are they easy to sort.
I've heard Ebay rumours but seen nothing there.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue can't find anything on ebay and also everytime i put my arm on it the whole armrest slides down, anyway to lock it in position?

You can "glue" on minature super magnets to one side and a flat headed screw or washer on the other to hold shut.
Some people have used 'velcro' as well.
From time to time the catches appear on ebay.

These links look like the A4 "might" fit as well.

I velcro'd mine shut with sticky sided velcro, much better than it sliding around and easier and cheaper than than trying to find a lid, or a catch... most of them are broken that I could find anyway... there's not really a huge loss of storage.

Neodymium magnets have worked a treat for me, for a couple of quid on ebay I bought round ones 5mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick, fixed 2 pairs in position with araldite. I'll upload a pic shortly.

Could be made to look a bit better but holds really well...

Mine was broken when I picked my S3 up, Ended up buying a new lid from TPS which was about £90 IIRC..? :(

When you say "sliding down" do you mean the whole armrest is dropping?
The armrest is height adjustable, if you put the handbrake down, that will allow the armrest to drop to it's lowest setting and reset the ratchet, then (if it's working correctly) will stay at whatever height you bring it to until you go high enough to disengage it again.

Yeah basically when i put my arm on it the whole thing goes down and okay will try putting it to the bottom and up again tomorrow and will let you know, thanks
