Q2 Arm rest doesn't fully close

Good evening,

Just wondered if anyone's armrest also doesn't fully close? I had an A3 before the Q2 and it closed fine. Surprised that my Q2 armrest doesn't fully close and leaves a gap as you can actually see through it when stood outside the car!

I think you'll it's meant to do that because if you use the wireless charger the phone gets very warm...

Yeah someone else said that on another forum. I see the logistics of it, but are all arm rests with wireless charging like this then?

I don't know about other manufacturers, and all I have seen are pads in the open, but with reports of battery fires perhaps Audi prefer not to take a risk...

In my Q3 it's fine - I can set it at different angles, actually I like it when it's not fully closed.
