'06 plate 2.0L tdi s-line, akoya, full leather, bose, interior lighting, 19's, dvd sat nav - love it!

have any of you a6 or a4 drivers experienced a squeaky steering wheel as ive just sold of my old a6 with 132000 miles on it with a tiny sqeak and bought a 2002 with 60000 miles on it with a huge sqeak from arnold clark and the no gooders are struggling to fix it [ clock spring has been metioned] cheers any repplies welcomed

And another, on my second A6. This one is a 2.5tdi quattro sport Avant '00. My other a 2.4 SE quattro Avant '00 got written off. There is a few of us out here we're just not as common as A4 owners.

Me too, been lurking in he 8P section but my daily driver is an A6 2.5 TDI Quattro Sport Avant. Mmm, big diesels with 4WD and 6 Speed manual boxes, it's enough to get me excited - especially with all this white stuff floating around!

I got my 2001 A6 1.8T quattro avant yesterday.

I travelled from port glasgow to souport to get it.
I have now realised that it doesnt have any of the toys such as the trip computer, esp, cruise control etc that i thought where standard on a quattro.

saying that i got it for a good price and it has a FSH and it is a lovely car.

do i realy nead these extras or should i just be happy i have a real good car?

I've got an avant A6 1.8T. Loved it at first... still a nice drive but the "common" problems with it are coming thick and fast. Thinking of going back to my old P reg A4 avant - much better built. Sorry guys...

Well, as my name suggests I've got an A6. Avant 3.0 TDI Quattro Le Mans - with lot's of toys - couldn't resist it. Love it - effortless, easy driving and it's averaged 33MPG over the last 21k miles which I think is pretty good! Can be a bit firm with S-Line + 19" wheels, but i can live with it

Also had an A2 but that's now an A3 TDI DSG.

Hello all.
On my second A6. First was a 2005 2.0TDi SE, now in a 2007 3.0TDi Q LeMans Auto. Lovin' the paddle shift.

Contemplating a remap now

finally bit the bullet and got this,(if i knew how to attach pics ?)

your thoughts would be very appreciated ,1999 2.8q,tip, 160k FSH,cambelt done at 124k,
7 seater.
will now start to give it good clean and polish etc.
i've had a go at cleaning the leather, which looks alot better than when i got it, does anyone know of some decent cleaner/ coloniser (is that the right word),
also, what are clay bars like to use ?
