New timing belt/pump
New L.E.D tail lights (old units failed) currently in process of rewiring to suit :S
New Headlight washer pump
2 New tyres
Started changing interior bulbs to L.E.D.
next is finding out which reverse sensors i need to replace and a bodywork touch up!
Great car, just inherited lots of unknown problems when i bought it and getting used to TD from petrol

First an 03 1.8t avant in silver (last seen in north Cumbria area and I miss it)
Now proud owner of
2001 (x) 2.5tis sport avant Quattro.
Last known area for her was county Durham although I bought from wannabe trader in Preston.

Joined today, having trouble with my sump (please see: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/01-a6-avant-1-9-tdi-ajm-sump-removal-advice-please.252634/).
I got my 01' A6 tdi 115hp AJM a few months back and converted it to a van (cheaper tax (Ireland) and I can sleep in it comfortably on weekends away). So far: 2 tyres, 2 front door regulators, 2 rear disks, 2 rear calipers, front brake hoses, alternator, belts, tensioners, water pump, timing belt, it was dumping coolant so I fitted a new head gasket (sorted), front engine mount and now I just need to fit my NEW sump after a succession of three slow bumps ended in sump suicide (anyone know of any bashplate designs/ plans ?) - these things are low !
If anyone needs any advice on the van conversion get in touch ... I took piccies an' everything !
How many of us are there now ?

I've got a 1998 a6 2.8 v6, engine running a bit crappy had service and changed breather pipe. Looking to change n80 valve next has anyone got one without problems lol. Also mine turns off now and again

I've got a 2005 2.5 A6 allroad with 174,000 miles, just done a 600 mile round trip with my grown up family ,my wife's got an A5 black edition
& i've got a A4 Cabriolet stored for summer use only .I've had 33 cars in total, mostly German sports models ,must be getting old cos i totally love my Allroad , Hey there's niggles, but i know its in my top 3 all time favs , Absolutely Awesome

Count me in. Bought my first Audi last month. 2000 A6 Avant C5 2.5Tdi Quattro 180hp AKE. Can't seem to find anyone else with the same colour combo as me. Blue dash/Cream leather seats. I see there are only 90ish SORN/Taxed of the 180's left in this year. Cheap RARE car then.

I have an A6 C5 2.5 Allroad, 2005 final edition with manual box. Only one previous owner, although he managed to ding every corner and side. But I got it cheap, only 107k on the clock and full history. I have posted 2 posts here and no response. Guess I will be joining our exclusive club!

Forgot to mention, I have blanked the EGR. although did it in an odd way as I could not get the pipe off the turbo to do it as they kit suggested. But works fine! And put a K&N filter in the air box. I have to say, it's sooooooooo much crisper amd more responsive

I know this is 12 pages long but I thought I would add my tuppence to the clan. Just bought my fourth c5 variation. Started of with a 2.7biT Avant, then s6 saloon, just sold my Rs6 Avant (still a bit tender about that one, but needs must in some cases). I have now got another s6 saloon on lpg, (although starting to think I should have got an Avant again). For me these cars ave everything I ever need in a car. Needs a few things done, but will hopefully be hanging on to this one. I may start a thread on it documenting the work.
Gave the wife the c6 Avant because I actually like the c5 more.
