Are CCM's interchangeable

Good morning everyone,

Quick question, if the battery drain on my Audi A4 convertible Tdi is down to corrosion on the CCM, due to its location and moisture.
Are they interchangeable, A3 A4 A5, Passat, Seat ect I know the part numbers should/need to match.
But I'm meaning is it specific to the Convertibles, Saloon, Avant or could I find one in other models.
I've been looking on eBay and obviously there's lots of different ones out there.

Need the same or superseded version, not interchangeable for most chassis's.

Plus coding required.

So if I find one out of a convertible around the same year it should be ok, if it has the same serial number, but then I have to find someone who can code it, or else it won't work, and how do I go about finding out the superseded part number?
