are 312mm carriers the same as the Mk4 platform carrier ?

Not sure.

Got mine off a 3.0 B6, but all quattro models should have 312mm on the front, and the 1.8T variations to my knowledge.......but sure there will be oddities to this LOL

My A4 Avant 1.9 TDI Quattro only had 288's at the front, and was a massive jump to the 245's I have on now. Most go for the 312mm from others on the B6 platform (comparable models from Skoda, VW and Seat) as above.

As far as I know the Mk4 Golf carriers wont fit as they attach to different hubs.....I dont think any of the dimensions are the same. I did have an upgrade kit for my GT TDI Mk4 but sold it on eBay a few months ago. (Carriers from a Mk1 Audi TT).

I would say that it is they unlikely they are the same. Pretty sure it has been discussed before on here.....
