I had a revo mappped s3 for past 2 years, started stage 1 & then to stage 2+ (which changes car completely). all my cars before that were even revo mapped (octavia vrs, A4 dtm edition) as they were only reasonable guys in game at the time really.
however i have just changed my car to a new s3 and i have chosen APR, simply for the reason that they are big in the US, AUS too & seem to have good customer support.
the old map, they had even upto last year caused a lot of problems on my old s3 when i got a trail uploaded, causing miss-fires and even problems with starting.
so i was reluctant to go down the APR route, but after reading nothing but good reviews from the new map and seeing diffent dyno runs (which mean noting really, as others have said) and even speaking to APR on the phone and at awesome gti open day along with people who have switched from revo to apr for a try..... i now love it
All i can say is that the new APR map is very good in my opinion, very drivable and has a good feel, the revo map was also very good put did have a pause at 5,000rpm and much more torque low down, but they have released an update in past months to compete with APR & gets rid of the pause whilst the fuel pump catches up. making it more like the APR map
Finally all i would say is, ignore figures, go either REVO or APR they are both good, pick the one with the garage/dealer who will give you support if you have any problems or any future upgrades.
hope it helps
