Apr remap

Wondering if anyone can help. My car is booked in for a remap in a few weeks. Will the car be louder after the map? Might be a stupid question it's a 17 plate s3

I would think you'll get more engine noise as the car revs more but it won't get louder unless you change the exhaust or get a resonator delete pipe. My friend has one on her 17 S3 (and I do on her old 14 S3) and it sounds awesome, much throatier than before
