Apple car Play to Android Auto

I've been using Apple Car Play in my S5 for a few months and all works OK, despite no album artwork which was available in a new golf GTi I had for a few weeks, however with Android Auto although there are nice features like Album art as the wallpaper for each song when I go to a Playlist you can't then scroll through the Playlist to pick a song you have to start at the beginning and then manually forward through each track. Surely it's not meant to work like this so what amI missing? Is there a setting I don't have set?

Yes for sure, still no way to pick individual songs from a Playlist

similar issue. I use Spotify within AA and when I go to my playlists through on the MMI it only lists about 15 songs in the playlist if i scroll down and wont scroll any further.
