Anyone with Vag-com living in Stevenage or Hertfordshire surrounding areas?

Basically bought my car on 31st May

Its been not even a full month yet and i've got a warning light on my car !!

Its the emissions light/ engine management light

I have a small code reader at home which I'd just checked but said No codes to be found...

Checked again, still nothing... then i went to clear the codes and it has now gotten rid of the warning light...

but still have no idea what the code is lol

Anyhow, i'm thinking it is possible EGR/ MAF sensor or Throttlebody issue here though as my car has a bouncy idle

No other symptoms found yet though...

Anyone around?

Tom i'll give you a text afterwork if thats okay ? Just got back from holiday and remembered that i've still got to sort this ****** warning light

I'm new to the turbo game and the 2L engine game so i'm sure theres a whole lot more different variables to my issue...

Just having a rough idle at the moment, i've also noticed my temp gauge does not reach the standard 90 even after extended drives... is that a good sign ? lol

I had idling issues and misfiring issues on my 1.4 mk4 golf which left me doing the following...
- throttle body clean
-new egr valve
- coil pack

Does anyone know of any other causes of bad idles ?
