Their pipe does look very good quality to be fair. I'm tempted but didn't think there was even a difference between the resonator from pre gpf to post.

I wouldn't have expected a difference to be honest, but they're marketing it as if there is.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts on how different the car is in terms of sound as I’ve just heard the New R8 with the filter on it and it’s so quiet All the pops and bangs have gone. Wandering if the S3 will lose Its DSG upshift noise too?

I’ve seen a lot of people saying there 2019 s3 doesn’t pop or fart. I just got mine 2weeks ago and it already bangs in all gears even in when I rev stationary it pops n farts it has been getting louder.
My friend has the 310hp s3 2018 his is louder but I think mine will get louder as I put on miles

The DSG fart noise is gone on the 2019 model, there are some muted pops and bangs on the over run though.

Can you think of a reason why this might happen?
I am genuinely curious....mainly because I cannot think of one.

All my cars have over the first few 1000 but if you expect a 2019 s3 to sound of much you'll be disappointed.

Mine is a 19 plate and it doesn't pop bang fart at all . Very muted i must say and its on 2k miles now so can't see it changing now . Considering a res delete but would it affect the warranty ?

Would potentially affect warranty on exhaust. Had plenty of warranty work done on mine and had a Res delete fitted. Wasn't an issue.

Would it just affect the exhaust warranty tho ? You know what audi are like they will do anything to get your hard earned

Yes. That's what I said. I had a couple things sorted under warranty and all went through fine even though I had a Res delete fitted

Not an issue for me as I have a pfl S3 , but it's a very expensive bit of kit if you check out the prices. Over 4,000 Euros if you add the whole kit! Unless I'm reading the site wrong?..I'm sure there must be plenty of tuner companies that can do it cheaper??

For the moment this is the only PPF delete I found... :'(

i would agree, a remap or a fooler type device will be needed. Don’t think I would want to be caught with a cheat type device on a Vag car
Mot won’t be an issue till late 2021 as opf was only introduced late last year.
I’m wondering is it as easy as the old lamda fooler(resistor one a box) that you used to get for decat pipes. Remember some cars only needed a spacer to move the sensor a little and it didn’t flag the ecu. Back in the days where cars weren’t supercomputers.

Not 100% sure but l think cars with a OPF filter fitted to them are for EU sale only...ie doesnt affect any other country
