Anyone on here play flight simulator X?

Hi all

I'm learning to fly at the minute (in real life) and I'm wanting something to keep my mind ticking over when I'm not having lessons (as it's £130 an hour, and can only afford a couple a month)

Does anyone rate flight simulator X? I've heard it's quite accurate and combined with a decent joystick and throttle controller, it's almost identical to the real thing and ideal for learners...

Hey, i used to use FS2004 while I was learning to fly! Combined with VATSIM it is really good, many an hour spent on there and is great for increasing your RT confidence!

Radio telephony... have fun, learning to fly is a great thing to do
