Anyone else with this problem on 2006 2.0 TDi? Injectors...

All units fitted during the recall were modified 'recon' units, they never produced any brand new versions. And with the amount of units removed during the recall, they could simply refurb & modify the returned units at the same time.

Refurbed doesn't mean 2nd hand, theses are very specialised pieces of equipment, and any piece returned to service will have to meet the same (if not more stringent) specifications of a newly manufactured unit.

Hello, hoping someone can help I have an a3 sport back with the 2.0tdi 170 BMN engine. It died on me last week and will not start. No fault codes at all. Vagcom tells me it's got the piezo injectors and when cranking over the measured block does not change on any of the injectors.

Audi tells me that my chassis number was not involved in the recall in 2012 for the injector fault. So haven't been changed but they say that it should never have been. Does anyone know if the injector recall was on every bmn 170 engine built in 2006?

But its definitely only Siemens injectors so yours are Bosch (for whatever reason, engine code etc)... then no, not part of the recall :-(
