That’s the Automatic Cruise Control indicator I believe.

If you don't have ACC you will have different clocks that don't have the indicator ring around the outside of the speedo.

On my PFL RS 3 I enabled the ACC and it activates the led’s around the clock.
They are there on the RS3 in any case, shine a torch into the cluster and you’ll see them.
Trouble is you’ll get errors for no adaptive cruise all the time.

I did the full retrofit on a 2015 SQ5.
The original clocks didn't have the ring around the outside so I had to fit the acc specific ones. Going by the way Audi fit the minimum to spec I thought it would be the same tbh....live and learn!
My 8V S3 had acc as standard so was always there.

The way to test is go into 17 instruments and turn on ACC in long coding....

The LED’s are inbetween the outside of the dial edge and the silver ring surrounds.
