Yeh posting that price is useless it's not what they cost here. Think that might have been the reason behind Andrews post.
Was it brotek that were offering a group buy?

By the time they have landed with import tax and vat then they are generally not too far away from a 1:1 $ - £ relationship

The group buy price ended up nearer mid 500's iirc so you can email Brotek and hope the landed price with import duty and vat is favourable or email HPA directly and see what you can sort out

TBH I suspect anyone suggesting to be a HPA 'dealer' in the UK will most likely order high value items such as this as and when... the stuff Bill gets from IE doesn't take that long to come over tbh so I doubt there will be anyone in the UK that would have one on the shelf so to speak but you never know...

I think you have your answer based on Statllers response...

Looking on the german site they are asking you to contact for details...

We get everything we can from Europe, their sales tax is much lower than VAT and sellers usually pass the savings on.

Google translate comes in handy for negotiating
